Privileges

Owner, trainer and jockey race day privileges at MTC for Listed Owners

If you are a listed owner with a runner on the day please present your photo ID at the racecourse entry point to receive members area day passes as per ticketing privileges below.

For Syndicates

It is the responsibility of the Syndicate Manager to collect and allocate all tickets to syndicate members. Ticketing will not be issued to individual syndicate members. Tickets are available from the MTC office prior to the race day after the final fields have been release.

Important information for owners

Members dress regulations are enforced within the Members Enclosure. Owners not complying with these standards will be refused entry into the Members Enclosure.

Winning owners will be invited to the Committee Room to enjoy the Club’s hospitality after the race presentation where they will receive a complimentary celebratory drink and watch the race.

Transferring owner’s privileges

Owners who will not be in attendance on the race day but would like to transfer their privileges onto a guest must email or a signed letter of authorisation mailed stating the race number, horse name and the name of the guest who will be in attendance no later than 1pm on the business day before the race day. A copy of this email or letter will be left at the racecourse entry point and the race day office. Please email requests to the Racing Manager: racingmgr@mackayturfclub.com.au

Owners’ ticketing privileges

Sole owner: Owner named in race book + 3 guests

2 + owners: Owner named in race book + 1 guest each

Registered syndicate: Maximum of 20 tickets

Race books

Listed owners, trainers and jockeys receive 1 race book.

Syndicate members receive 1 race book up to a maximum of 10.

For Trainers

Trainers with a runner on the race day are entitled to two complimentary Members’ Enclosure tickets.

For Jockeys

Jockeys with a ride on the race day are entitled to two complimentary Members’ Enclosure tickets.

We require all Owners, Trainers and Jockeys to pre-register with Events to secure your entry to Member’s Areas on Race Days, even if your entry is complimentary (excluding mid-week race meets).
